The Ironwood Golf Academy offers golf lessons for adults and youth in the Buffalo and Western New York area, with a focus on the fundamentals that actually lower scores — sound technique, repeatable routines, and smart practice. This isn’t just range instruction; it’s a program built to help you develop real, lasting improvement and course-ready confidence.
Led by instructor Ren Jenetti, the academy focuses on strong fundamentals, smarter on-course play, and the values that make golf a great game — etiquette, respect, and confidence. The program is open to men and women of all skill levels, from beginners picking up a club for the first time to experienced golfers looking to sharpen their consistency.
With flexible session options running mid-May through September, golfers can attend sessions that fit their schedule — no rigid weekly commitment required. Spots are limited each season.

Ren Jenetti
Both the Adult and Youth Academy programs are coached by Ren Jenetti. Ren brings a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping every golfer — regardless of starting point — build a game they’re proud of.
Youth Academy (Ages 8–17)
The Youth Academy is designed for boys and girls ages 8 through 17, focusing on golf fundamentals, on-course play, and the values that make golf a great game for young people — respect, etiquette, patience, and confidence. Like the adult program, the flexible format lets families purchase a session package and attend whichever sessions fit your schedule.
Come to any sessions convenient to you.
Weekly sessions as follows:
- Wednesdays 12:30pm – 1:45pm
- Thursdays 1:30pm – 2:45pm
- Saturdays 3:00pm – 4:15pm
- Some Tuesdays: Specialty Clinics Throughout the Season
Season: Weekdays run late June to end of August. Weekends run May to end of September.

Every Thursday at 1:00 PM, a maximum of 8 students take their skills from the range to the course for real-game practice with instructor guidance. Register now to lock in your spot.
Adult Academy (Men & Women)
The Adult Academy is designed for golfers 18 and older of all skill levels — whether you’re brand new to the game or working to break through a plateau. The flexible format lets you purchase a session package and attend whichever scheduled sessions work best for your calendar. No rigid weekly commitment.

Do you accept beginners?
Absolutely. The academy is designed for everyone from first-time golfers to advanced players. If you’ve never held a club, you’re in the right place.
Can I attend different days each week?
Yes. Your package allows you to attend any listed sessions that are convenient for you. There’s no requirement to attend the same day each week.
What ages are eligible for Youth Academy?
Youth Academy is for ages 8 through 17.
When does the academy run?
Adults: mid-May to mid-September. Youth: weekday sessions run late June through end of August; weekend sessions run mid-May to mid-September.
Who is the instructor?
Both the Adult and Youth Academy are coached by Ren Jenetti.
Is this program open to women?
Yes. The Adult Academy is open to men and women of all skill levels. Ironwood is committed to creating a welcoming environment for women in golf.
