The Course
Ironwood Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course nestled in the rolling hills and open skies of Wyoming County — one of the most scenic settings for golf anywhere in Western New York. Designed by acclaimed WNY golf architect Scott Witter and opened in 2004, Ironwood stretches 6,416 yards from the championship tees and offers a genuine test of golf for every skill level.
The front nine plays through park-like, tree-lined fairways with a welcoming feel that rewards accuracy and good course management. The back nine opens up into a links-style layout with subtle elevation changes, deep rough, and natural tall grass areas — where the views of the countryside are as memorable as the golf.
With white sand bunkers, well-placed water hazards, and greens that are consistently among the best-maintained in the region, Ironwood delivers a playing experience that keeps golfers coming back season after season.

Ironwood Golf Course hosts some of the most popular golf tournaments in the Buffalo and Western New York area — from competitive 2-man scrambles and fast-paced mini scrambles to fan-favorite women’s golf events and unique driving range competitions. Our in-house events are known for great organization, big energy, and a welcoming atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels. Many sell out quickly, so early registration is the way to go.

Ironwood Golf Academy
The Ironwood Golf Academy offers golf lessons for adults and youth in the Buffalo and Western New York area, with a focus on strong fundamentals, on-course confidence, and the values that make golf a great game. Led by instructor Ren Jenetti, the academy runs from mid-May through September with flexible scheduling — attend any sessions that work for you.
Whether you’ve never picked up a club or you’re working to sharpen your consistency, the academy is built to help you make real progress. Open to men and women 18+, and youth ages 8–17.
